Network Interconnection

Peering with GridMetro

Connect your network to GridMetro's carrier-grade backbone infrastructure. We maintain an open peering policy through exchanges and selective direct peering for qualified networks.

Our Peering Policy

Open through exchanges, selective otherwise

Public Peering
Open policy at Internet exchanges

GridMetro maintains an open peering policy at all public Internet exchanges where we have a presence. We welcome peering with any network operator at these locations.

  • No traffic requirements
  • Settlement-free interconnection
  • Available at all IX locations
Private Peering
Selective direct interconnection

For private network interconnection (PNI), we evaluate requests on a case-by-case basis. Direct peering provides dedicated capacity and lower latency for high-volume traffic exchange.

  • Minimum 1 Gbps capacity required
  • Settlement-free basis
  • Available at GridColo facilities
